Elkader Register, Thur., 5 May 1921. Read column.

After a lingering illness of a complication of diseases, Mrs. August Rieckhof died at the home of her son-in-law, Wm. L. Staack and family on Saturday, April 30, 1921. She was born in Germany more than sixty-nine years ago. Her husband died in 1902. She is survived by 7 daughters and 29 grandchildren and was lovingly cared for until the end. The funeral was held on Monday, May 2, Rev. G. Weise officiating.
