Elkader Register, Thur., 21 Apr. 1921.

Mrs. Wetle Wetleson died at her home in Gunder Friday evening, April 15th at 7:00 o'clock, following a brief illness of acute bowel trouble. She had reached the age of 58 years on the 11th of March.

Anbjor Landsgard was born in Norway March 11th, 1863, and came to America when about sixteen years old with two brothers, Coming almost directly to Clayton county she worked for families in Marion township for several years.

About thirty-eight years ago she was married to Wetle Wetleson of that township and they took up their home on the Wetleson farm which has been her home ever since until she removed to Gunder about a year ago. Mr. Wetleson died about twenty-six years ago.

Mrs. Wetleson was the mother of six children, of whom three daughters, Mrs. Knut Olson and Mrs. Millard Olson of Wagner township and Mrs. Emil Gulsvig, survive. She is also survived by three brothers, E. E. Landsgard of Gunder, Ole Landsgard of Milton, N.D., and Gunder Landsgard in Norway, and nine grandchildren.

Her life was centered about her home and family. She was a devoted wife and mother, a good neighbor, a true and faithful friend. She was an earnest member of the Marion Lutheran church, taking an active part in the church work so far as she was able and endeavoring to carry its teaching into her every day life. The entire community feels the loss of a good woman and extends the sympathy to the bereaved relatives.

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock at the home and in the church in Gunder, Rev. Nels Arveson officiating, and interment was in the Gunder cemetery.

May she hear the words of her Lord saying, "Well done, good and faithful servant, enter into the joy of our Lord."
