On last Saturday evening, April 16, 1921, at the Fred Mueller home in this city, John H. Kuhl, one of Guttenberg's long time and highly respected residents, passed away at the age of 62 years, the cause of his death being heart trouble. His health had been failing him since last autumn. On last Saturday he went from his home to the Fred Mueller home, where he became seriously ill and peacefully passed away on that evening at 6:30 o'clock. All that medical knowledge could suggest was done for him to ward off death, but all to no avail. He was a patient sufferer during his entire illness, and had not given up hopes for recovery until the Angel of Death called him to the other and better World, where there is no more suffering, but joy and happiness forever.
