Henry Reichart passed away at his home in Littleport February 18. He was born as the fifth child to Frederick Reichart and Mary, nee Daehling. He received Baptism in the Lutheran church. After he had attended public school he began work in various engagements and finally went into business in Littleport, in which he engaged up to his death. Deceased was married to Louisa Armbruster of Littleport with whom he lived in happy union for twenty-seven years. To this union two children were born, who survive the father.
Deceased was in ill health for some time but not until a few weeks previous to his death was his real condition recognized. He was taken in the prime of life reaching the age of fifty-two years, one months and thirteen days.
Those that mourn his early demise are the widow, Mrs. Louise Reichart, the mother, Mrs. Mary Reichart, two brothers, William and Charles of Littleport; five sisters, Mrs. Augusta Romig, Mrs. Louise Christ, Mrs. Ida Cziz_k, Mrs. Clara Newmaster, all of Dubuque, Mrs. Marie Koehn, Elkader, the two daughters, Mrs. Pearl Kennedy of Dubuque and Lanida at home and a large circle of friends. The Rev. P. E. Stolz officiated at the funeral services. Interment was made in the Littleport cemetery.
