Fairview: Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock at the Bethel church for Mrs. Willis Harbaugh, who passed away Monday morning at the Moran hospital at Elkader, following a serious illness of a little over two weeks duration.
Ora Alice Brown, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob H. Brown, was born on May 4, 1905, on a farm in Mallory township, Clayton county, and passed away on Dec. 16, 1935.
She received her education in the Colesburg Consolidated school and she also attended the Iowa State Teachers college at Cedar Falls.
On Dec. 29, 1934, she was united in marriage to Willis Harbaugh at the Fairview parsonage, after which they made their home on the Tinkey farm at Dingesville.
Besidees her husband, she is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Brown; two brothers, James W., of Wilmar, Minn., and Dale R., at home; and one sister, Mrs. Jim Messier, of Cedar Falls. Two baby daughters preceded her in death ten days ago.
The pallbearers were Messrs. Russel, Elmer and Chance Brown, and Walter, Louis and Johnnie Hansel.
Religious numbers were rendered by Mesdames Harriet Coon and E. E. Clements. Miss Edith Merten was the pianist.
Services were conducted by the Rev. E. Clements of Colesburg, and interment was in the Bethel cemetery.
