Guttenberg: Charles Goetz, a former local resident, died at his home at Long Beach, Calif., Friday afternoon, following an illness of long duration. Mr. Goetz was born at this place 66 years ago, later going to Roundup, Mont., where he resided for a number of years, and then to Long Beach, Calif. The body will arrive here Thursday morning and will be taken to the Masonic temple, where Masonic funeral services will be held on Thursday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock. Mr. Goetz was a member of the Masonic fraternity. The body will be laid to rest in the city cemetery. He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Lilly Hoover, of Long Beach, Cal., one half-brother, Arthur Goetz, of Missoula, Mont., one half-sister, Miss Millie Goetz, of Long Beach, Calif., and many other relatives and friends. The deceased was a cousin of Mrs. E. J. Pohle of this place.
