Jackson Bolsinger, a civil war veteran died at his home here Monday at one o'clock p.m. Obituary later.

John Bolsinger passed away at his home in Jefferson, shortly afternoon, Monday, February 28th in the 84th year of his age. He was born in Pennsylvania, coming to Iowa in early life.
This community was the family home for many years. He is survived by his wife, three daughters - Mrs. Nora McKinney, Mrs. George Lyster and Mrs. Florence Lyster, all of North Dakota; and three sons - Norman, George and Oscar Bolsinger of Jefferson.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, conducted by Mrs. P.M. Phillips and interment was made at the Bolsinger cemetery. The deceased was a veteran of the Civil War. Sympathy is extended the family in the loss of a good husband and father and the G.A.R. in the loss of a faithful comrade.
