Clayton County Register, Wednesday, 7 Feb. 1996.

Rose L. Bottelman, 80, of Torrington, Wyo., formerly of Mederville, died at Community Hospital on February 2, 1996, of natural causes. Graveside services at the Mederville Cemetery will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 7, 1996.

Rose Bottelman was born July 30, 1915, in Iowa, where she grew up and received her education. She was married to Henry William Bottelman in 1934. After the couple's separation in 1965, she came to Wyoming and made her home with Alvin Gunderson and helped him in his auto sales and wrecking business.

Survivors include Alvin Gunderson, her partner and companion of Torrington; two sons, Henry Bottelman of Delavan, Wis., and Jerry Bottelman of Casper, Wyo.; and Bonnie Lee, Jack and Debbie Gunderson, whom she raised; and eight grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; son, Donald Dean; two daughters, Carletta Lorraine and Carol Guy; a granddaughter; and Matthew Gunderson, whom she had raised.
