SCHOCKING DEATH – Mr. John Murray, a resident of North McGregor, was killed instantly on the gravel train near the gravel pit, a little south of Maquoketa, Friday morning. He was sitting on the rear of the hind flat, and by some means fell off while the train was backing up, and his head falling upon the track was cut open by the huge wheel. He was instantly killed. Three cars passed over him. The body was taken up and carried to his late home, where a wife and three children are now suffering indescribable agony over the loss of a husband and father.
