Funeral services for Mrs. Henry Albeck were held from the home Wednesday afternoon, Rev. S. F. Kenderdine officiating. Burial was made in Pleasant Grove cemetery.

Mrs. Albeck died at Finley hospital in Dubuque Monday afternoon from a very rare blood disease, purpura_aemorrhagica. Doctors were unable to stop the hemorrhages, although a blood transfusion was given.

Mrs. Albeck was born March 21, 1879, at Fort Scott, Kansas, coming to Iowa with her parents when ten years old. She was married to Henry N. Albeck at Crystal Lake, Iowa, September 18, 1901.

She is survived by her husband; one daughter, Mrs. Fern Jones, of Tripoli, Iowa; one son, Eldon, in the grocery business with his father; her mother, Mrs. Della Allard, of McGregor; two brothers, George and William Allard, both of McGregor; and one grandchild, Phyllis Waltz.
