Funeral services for Vernon Gottfried Kann, four-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Kann of Jefferson township, who died Wednesday from burns received Tuesday evening, were held Saturday morning at St. Mary's Catholic church here, with the Rev. J. A. Dupont officiating. Burial was made in the Catholic cemetery.

The victim received the burns while his father and grandfather were burning brush on the Kann farm.

Besides his parents, he is survived by one brother, his grandparents and other relatives. The family has the sympathy of all in this community.
