Funeral services for Mrs. Ida Heins, 71, were held Wednesday afternoon, July 5, at 1:30 o'clock at the Schultz Funeral home with Rev. R.E. Langholz officiating. Burial was in the Eno cemetery.

Mrs. Heins became ill about two years ago and was confined to her bed most of the time. She was cared for by her daughter, Florence, in her home, and by her grandchildren until the time of her death. She died Sunday morning, July 2.

Mrs. Heins was born the daughter of Charles and Frederika, nee Kowfeld, Landt, Dec. 9, 1895, near Monona. She was baptized Jan. 5, 1909, by Rev. John Greaning and was confirmed April 1909, at St. Paul Ev. Lutheran church in Monona, while Rev. Otto Wappler was pastor. She attended the rural schools of her home community.

She was married to Helmuth Mueller, Nov. 30, 1916. They went to live on a farm south of Luana. She was married to William Heins, Aug. 10, 1940.

Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, Helmuth Mueller; two children, Hazel and Helen, who died as infants; one brother, Herman Landt; two half sisters, Dalia Kluss, and Minnie Livingood; and three half brothers, William, Fred, and Charles Landt.

Surviving are her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Harry (Mabel) Schutte, of Monona and Florence Mueller of Luana, one son, Harlan Heins of Luana, one brother, Henry Landt of Postville, one half-sister, Mrs. Frieda Cox of Milwaukee, Wis., and ten grandchildren.

Music at the services was provided by Eugene Ferguson, soloist. Mrs. George Heins was the accompanist. Pallbearers were Joe Donlon, Albert Schultz, Ormar Bruns, Delbert Belschner, Junior Bitner and Wesley Wiedenmann.
