Funeral services were held for Ivanelle M. Milewsky, 79, Garnavillo, Sunday, May 16, 1999, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Garnavillo with burial at the Garnavillo City Cemetery. Pastor Gary Hatcher officiated. Honorary pallbearer was Floyd Friedlein. Pallbearers were Larry Meyer, Marvin Vaske, Tracy Werges, Tom Stade and Allen Werges. Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

She was born February 25, 1920, on the family farm near Garnavillo, Iowa, daughter of Henry and Carrie (Hedemann) Milewsky. Ivanelle graduated from the Garnavillo High School. She was homemaker and a care giver for her mother for many years and an active lifetime member at St. Paul's Lutheran Church at Garnavillo. She especially enjoyed spending time with her friends. She died May 24, 1999, at the Guttenberg Municipal Hospital.

Survivors are many cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother in infancy.
