ELKHORN, Wisconsin -- Susann Marie Little, 80, of Elkhorn, formerly of Monona, Iowa, passed away on Sunday, July 6, 2014, at her residence at Kindred Heart Assisted Living in Elkhorn, surrounded by love and family.

Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 2, 2014, at Living Faith United Methodist Parish, Monona, Iowa. Rev. Dennis Hopes will officiate. Private burial will be held at a later date.

Visitation will be held from 10 until 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 2, 2014, at the church. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting that memorial contributions can be made to the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America. [address deleted]

Susann requested that her body be donated to the Medical College of Wisconsin for medical research. Leonard-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service is helping the family with the arrangements.

Susann was born on November 19, 1933, in Monona, Iowa, the daughter of Page and Alice Ames Dull. Susann grew up on a farm north of Monona and spent many years raising her family on that same farm.

Susann was married to John Little on November 17, 1978, in Salina, Kansas. They resided in Salina for three years, in Viroqua, Wisconsin for twelve years and in Yankton, South Dakota, for twenty years. In 2012, due to her deteriorating health, she moved into an assisted living facility in Wisconsin to be closer to her daughter, Sheila.

Susann loved life and was always quick to smile and laugh. She loved her family and enjoyed traveling with her husband, John, who loved her deeply. She loved her dogs, especially her beagle, Pacer. She was also an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers. Susann was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Yankton, South Dakota.

Susann is survived by her husband, John Little of Yankton, South Dakota; a son, Ronald Marovets of Monona, Iowa; her daughter, Sheila Amann of Burlington, Wisconsin; a son, Steven Marovets and wife, Gina, of Chicago, Illinois, and her brother, Robert Dull of Postville, Iowa. She is also survived by a grandson, Nick (Tonya) of Eugene, Oregon; a granddaughter, Cassie (Josh) of Glendale Heights, Illinois; three great-grandchildren, Clark and Marie of Eugene, Oregon, and Myles of Glendale Heights, Illinois; three step-daughters, Jolene (Ken) Little of Wapello, Iowa, Jaylene (Tom) Halstead of Kalona, Iowa, and Joanne Little of Tipton, Iowa, and step-grandchildren, Jayanne, Joseph, Elijah of Kalona, Iowa, and Logan and Brady of Wapello, Iowa.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Eugene; and infant son, Robert Lee Marovets.
