Mrs. Clarence Miner, nee Ruth Marie Noggle, was born near Elkport, Iowa, June 7th, 1905, and passed away at the McGregor Hospital on Sunday Nov. 16th, 1924, at half past eight o'clock in the evening, at the age of 19 years, 5 months and 6 days.
Four weeks ago she became a mother. Soon after childbirth infection set in, and as her condition became alarming it was deemed necessary to take her to the hospital. This was done Saturday of last week; but all efforts to save the young life were of no avail. She was called to the great beyond the next day.
Her departure is mourned by the husband, Clarence Miner; the baby-boy, Robert; the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Milton Noggle; three sisters, six brothers, and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. C. H. Franke of Elkader, at the home near Littleport, Iowa, on Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 19th. Interment was made in the (looks like Mount Harmony) Cemetery.
