After a long siege of suffering William Landt passed away early Thursday morning Sept. 4, at the age of 60 years, 19 days. Funeral services occurred Sunday afternoon in the Methodist church, burial in the Luana cemetery beside his father and mother. He was a kind and loving father and will be greatly missed by his wife and two daughters, Mrs. Elba Nagel and Mrs. Mike Kane, and three grandchildren. He also leaves two brothers, Monroe of Luana and George of Waukon, with their families, to mourn his passing.
