Elkader Register, Thur., 11 Sept. 1924.

Alfred James Geno passed away at the family home here in Elkader last Thursday, September 4th, 1924, at the age of 62 years, 8 months and 25 days.

He was born in New York state on December 9th, 1861, and came west a number of years later. His wife preceded him in death several years ago.

He is survived by four daughters and one son, Lela, Goldie, Irene, Norma and Albert. The children are all at home.

Funeral services were held at the home Saturday inducted by Rev. W. J. Warner, pastor of the congregational church. Interment was made in the city cemetery at Strawberry Point. The Woodmen Lodge had charge of the services at the cemetery.
