OPPERMAN, OPPERMANN, GRIESINGER

Elkader Register, Thur., 28 Aug. 1924. Strawberry Point column.

The death of Mrs. H. K. Opperman occurred last Saturday evening after a lingering illness. She has been a sufferer of diabetes for a number of years but was able to attend to her household duties most of the time, until seven weeks ago she had to go to bed, during which time she suffered untold agony. Her husband was always at her side and was always kind and patient, but death was a relief to her. She leaves her heartbroken husband and a son Edgar. Funeral services occurred Tuesday afternoon in the Lutheran church conducted by her pastor, Rev. Fritschel. Interment took place beside her loved ones in the St. Sebald cemetery.
