Elkader Register, Thur., 29 May 1924.

Amelia Fredericka Koehn, sixth eldest child of Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand Koehn of Clayton township, died at the home of her parents, Sunday afternoon, May 25, 1924, at two o'clock p.m. at the age of 20 years, 8 months and 24 days. Her death was caused by tuberculosis following an attack of the flu.

She was born in Garnavillo township September 1, 1903, and for eight years attended the Eagle Grove school and in 1917 attended the Lutheran parish school, being confirmed at Garnavillo on March 24, 1918.

She is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand Koehn, six brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock at St. Paul's Lutheran church at Garnavillo, and interment was made in the new cemetery there, Rev. K. W. Braun officiating.
