Elkader Register, Thur., 8 May 1924. Strawberry Point column.

The death of Mrs. Daniels, aged 84 years, occurred Sunday afternoon at her home after several weeks illness. Services were held at the home Tuesday forenoon conducted by Rev. Frizzelle. Interment took place beside her husband in the County Corners cemetery. She leaves two step-sons, John and George Daniels, to mourn the loss of a kind and affectionate mother, besides other relatives and friends.

Mary Frances Truman, 2nd w/o Amos Daniels, 1840-1924 has a gravestone in County Corners cemetery. Amos Daniels does not have an existing stone in the cemetery, but he does have one in the Strawberry Point cemetery with his 1st wife Sarah Jane. Amos' obit names his 2nd wife as Mary Frances Truman, her death certificate (Family Search.org) gives maiden name as Hammond. She was married first to Cyrus Truman.
