Edgewood, Ia. - Alexander Jackson Stone, 87, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. William Miller. He had been in poor health for years, and was confined to his bed for a year. Funeral arrangements will be announced at the Rhines funeral home here.

Surviving are his wife, Ellen; three daughters, Mrs. William (Ellen) Miller, Edgewood, Mrs. Amos (Vera) Price, Iola, Kan. and Mrs. Anderson (Leta) Dale, Astoria, Wash.; and one son, Ralph of Edgewood.
