Mr. and Mrs. Ben Overbeck, Misses Frieda and Ina Bierbaum and Amelia Overbeck attended the Edna Dull funeral at Monona, Thursday.
----- ----- -----
Edna May Dull was born in Allamakee Co., near Monona, Iowa, November 15, 1895, and departed this life July 14, 1913, at Sturgis, N.D. She was the fourth child of a family of ten, the children of Wm. and Lucy Dull.
After the death of her mother two years ago, she being the oldest daughter at home, much of the management of the household fell upon her. The last week in June she went to visit her aunt, Mrs. Hammond, near Sturgis. Soon afterward she complained of not feeling well. In a few days the doctor said she had cholera morbus, a few days later and peritonitis had developed. Sunday afternoon she was taken worse and rapidly failed, dying on Monday morning about two o'clock.
She leaves to mourn her in her death, a father, four sisters and five brothers, grandparents and other relatives. The funeral was held in the Methodist Church at Monona on July [illegible]th, a large company of people testifying their sympathy with the bereaved family in their sorrow.
Those from a distance who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. K.O. Parrish, of Wymore, Nebr., and Mr. and Mrs. R.A. Hammond and son, of Sturgis, N.D.
