Strawberry Point, Ia. - Funeral services for Mrs. Cyrus Hines, 82, who died Saturday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Huntington, where she was being cared for, were held Monday. Burial was in the local cemetery.
As Amanda Jane Carnicle, she was born Nov. 12, 1863, in Clinton county, Ia., and was married to Cyrus Hines on Oct. 24, 1882.
She is survived by her aged husband, who is seriously ill; an adopted daughter, Ida, Strawberry Point; a brother, Breenbery Carnicle, Strawberry Point; two sisters, Maryann Hines, Strawberry Point and Mrs. Josephine Brownson, Waterloo, Ia.; three half brothers, Cy Carnicle, Strawberry Point, Willie Carnicle, Edgewood, Ia., and Jacob Carnicle, South Bend, Neb.
