Nancy Hall was born in Jackson county, Indiana, February 14th, 1833. She came with her parents to Clayton county in 1845, where she resided until her death, which occurred Saturday, Dec. 22nd, 1906. The subject of this sketch was married to Wm. Rizer on the 28th of July, 1853. There were five children born to this union, three of whom preceded their mother to the great beyond. Two daughters, with their husbands, are left to mourn the loss of a kind mother, who died at the advanced age of 73 years, 10 months and 8 days. The interment took place in the Brookshier cemetery Monday, Dec. 24th, at one o'clock p.m. The following were the pall bearers - all nephews of the deceased: Perry Rulon, Geo. Rulon, Harry Rulon, Spencer Fleming, Perry Fleming and Hugh Rizer.
