Bass Services Are Held on Sunday At Clayton Lutheran

Clayton—Funeral services were held in the Lutheran church Sunday afternoon for Mrs. Mary Shepherd Bass, 82, a resident of the Sny Magill community.

The services were in charge of Rev. Getz [Goetz] of Dubuque and burial was in Clayton cemetery.

Mrs. Bass died in South Beloit, Illinois, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Amy Bovee. She is survived by seven children, Amy of South Beloit, Illinois; Grace of Wisconsin, Orville of Conesville, Iowa; Arthur of Arlington, Iowa; Ruth of McGregor; Maida of Dakota and Harry of the home. She was the widow of George Bass who died several years ago.
