Monday afternoon at County Corners was held the funeral of little Merrill Dunsmoor, the 16 months old child of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Dunsmoor, Rev. Rodgers, of this city, preaching the funeral sermon. The little boy came to his tragic end Sunday afternoon by drowning in a water trough at his home southwest of this city. The father was away at the time and the mother momentarily lost sight of the little one, only to find it lifeless in the trough shortly afterward. Efforts to bring it back to life proved unavailing. - Strawberry Point Mail-Press.
