Millinghausen Rites Held in Clayton April 21
_______Services were held at the Peace Lutheran church in Clayton last Wednesday for Amelia Millinghausen, 87, who died on April 17 in Belmond. Rev. K. Landgrebe officiated at the service.
The deceased was born at Ceres on October 16, 1860, a daughter of August and Paulina Millinghausen. She was confirmed at St. Paul’s Lutheran church here on April 5, 1874.
She spent her early childhood in and about Garnavillo and Guttenberg and as a young woman worked for the Lindsay family. Later she made her home with her sister, Clara Pesch, of Clayton, and still later went to live with the Herbert Pesch family at Rowan, Iowa.
She is survived by three nephews, George Pesch of Rock Island, Illinois; Walter Pesch of Moline, Illinois, and Herbert Pesch of Rowan.
