Funeral services for Mrs. Henry Duwe, aged 79, were held Monday afternoon at on o'clock from the home at one-thirty from St. Paul's Lutheran church, the Rev. H.W. Siefkes officiating and burial was made in the city cemetery beside her husband. Pallbearers were Walter J. Jarms, John A. Lenth, Alvin Engelhardt, John Engelhardt, Charles Kraus, Rudolph A. Garms, Rudolph J. Schroeder and Fred G. Drahn.

Mary Dannenbring, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Dannenbring was born at Guttenberg March 4, 1860. Aug. 29, 1895, she was married to Henry Duwe at Clayton Center. For the past 68 years she has lived in the home in which she died.

Six children survive her, Joseph Duwe and Mrs. Harry Reinhardt of Postville, Herman Duwe, Mrs. Wm. A. Debes, Walter Duwe and Mrs. Arno Miller, all of Monona; 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Emma Harnish; and one brother, Henry Dannenbring of Mennow, S. Dak., also survive her.

Mrs. Duwe was a good and faithful mother, always happiest when her children came to visit her. Her son Herman lived at home with her. The sympathy of the community is extended the bereaved in their loss.
