William A. H. Muller
Funeral services for William A. H. Muller, 77, were held Monday, Feb. 27, from the Schultz funeral home at 1:45 p.m. to the Pilgrim Evangelical United Brethren church at 2 o’clock. The Rev. A. W. Ebert officiated. Burial was in the City cemetery.
Mr. Muller was born March 30, 1878, in Monona township, a son of Wilhelm and Wilhelmine Brauncke Muller, and died at Rock Falls, Ill., Feb. 24. He had been in ill health for some time. He followed the occupation of farming until he retired to Monona several years ago.
He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Mary Harnack, who died in 1930; his parents; one son, Arno; one sister, Mrs. Harry Moon, and one brother, Fenerd.
Survivors include two sons, Frank of Rock Falls, Ill., and Louis of Denver, Colo.; two daughters, Mrs. Roy (Katherine) Melcher of Clarendon Hills, Ill., and Mrs. Hugo (Rosena) Zahn of Springfield, Ill., one brother John of Longview, Wash., nine grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
