Thomas Plozel was born Dec. 11, 1837, in Austria, and died at the home of his granddaughter, Mrs. P.B. Miller, Monday evening, June 9, death being due to a stroke of apoplexy. He had been in feeble health for some time, but was able to be about and came to town a day or two before his death. He had made his home with his daughter Mrs. Sudol, east of town.
He is survived by Mrs. Jacob Sudol and Miss Anna Plozel, Nashua, Mrs. A. Jermier, Charles City, and two daughters in Monona, Iowa.
The body was taken to Monona Tuesday morning for burial.
