Dubuque Telegraph Herald – November 2, 1931

Guttenberg, Ia., Nov 2. - Special: - Charles Kickbusch, 82, lifelong resident of Clayton County, died at his farm house in Millville Township Saturday evening.

Mr. Kickbusch was born in Germany in 1848, and came to this country early in life. He was married to Freidericke Kickbusch, who died in 1920. for many years he was engaged in farming in Millville Township.

He is survived by four sons, Herman, William and Charles of Millville Township, and John of Springfield, Wash.; three daughters, Mrs. George M. Jacobs, Guttenberg; Mrs. William Meyer and Mrs. Fred Blume of Millville Township; one half-brother, J. C. Kickbusch of Osterdock and several grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday afternoon at St. Paul's United Brethren Church here. The Rev. James Sopko will officiate.

Interment in the City Cemetery.
