L. G. Webb, the father of Ray Webb, Clerk of Courts, died about 12:00 last evening at his home in McGregor. Mr. Webb was for many years the Marshal at McGregor. Ray was called home Friday on account of his father's illness.

The funeral of L. G. Webb Friday was largely attended. He was 72 years old and had lived here over 46 years. He leaves a widow, four sons and two daughters: Ralph, of Toledo, Ohio; D. G. D., of Wilmington, Ill.; Ray, of Elkader; Dr. John E., Mrs. Al Clemens and Gertrude, at home.
