Word received here Thursday conveyed the sorrowful intelligence to relatives that Mrs. Lillie James, nee Stearns, had died at the residence of her father, near Fayette, on the 13th inst. She was about 22 years of age, and had been married but a few short months. She was a sister of H. C. Stearns, and a niece of C. F. Stearns, of this place. They will have the sympathies of all in their sad bereavement.
