Elkader Register, Fri., 20 April 1883. Edgewood Echoes column.

The funeral of John Farmer, who died last Friday night, was held on the 15th at the Conners' school house, and was largely attended. Deceased lived about three miles north of this place and was an old resident. He had many friends in this part of the county, having always had the reputation of being a good neighbor.
