Elkader Register, Fri., 30 March 1883. Wood Centerings column.

We are sorry to announce the death of Mr. Wescott, which sad event occurred on the 23rd inst. He leaves a wife and seven children to mourn the loss of a kind husband and indulgent father.

-Records are found with surname spelled either Wescott or Westcott
