Elkader Register, Thur., 17 Dec. 1903. Garnavillo column.

Margaret Oelkers died at the home of her nephew, Chris Oelkers, near Elkport, Tuesday, Dec. 10th, 1903. The funeral occurred Sunday at St. Paul's conducted by Rev. W. K. Braun. Interment in the old cemetery.

Note: The day and date of the newspapers publication is correct.
