THREE KILLED IN THREE HIGHWAY MISHAPS
Albert Moser, 50, Strawberry Point.Moser, a retired implement dealer was killed this morning when the car the was driving collided with a Borden's Ice Cream truck, driven by Dean Garrison. In his car were his wife and two daughters who were rushed to Mercy Hospital. Moser died a little after the accident apparently from a skull fracture. The collision occurred on a highway grade crossing which, it was reported, is obscured to a great extent by folliage and trees. Neither driver saw the other vehicle until they were both in the intersection and then it was too late to stop.
Mrs. Moser, 47, is suffering from a fractured hip and possible head injury, while the oldest daughter, Rita, 19, who was scheduled to start work at the telephone office here soon, is suffering from a fractured skull. The younger daughter, Marilyn, 8, has back injuries and a fracture.
Mercy Hospital authorities said all three are doing well.
