Elkader Register, Thur., 26 Nov. 1903. Local News column.

From the Argus (Elkader, Iowa) we learn that Supervisor S. H. F. Schoulte and wife, of National, arrived at McGregor yesterday morning with the body of their daughter, Philomena, who died at Boulder, Colo. Miss Schulte had been there several months. Funeral services will be held at Garnavillo Friday morning. The many friends of Mr. and Mrs. Schoulte will sympathize with them in their sorrow.

Note: Both spellings of the surname were used in the article. She is buried in St. Joseph's cemetery, Garnavillo.
