Elkader Argus, Wed., 30 Sept. 1903. Volga column.

Mr. and Mrs. Groft (sic) were called to part with their little son, William G., who for one short week had been with them. Sunday evening the little bud was transplanted to a better world and aching hearts are left here to mourn. Monday afternoon Rev. Hoke, of Wadena, gave a short talk and with a prayer the friends and neighbors took the little body and laid it away in the cemetery. They have the sympathy of their many friends in their sad bereavement. They wish to thank all who have been so kind to them in their trouble.
