Elkader Register, Thur., 9 July 1903.

At her home in this township at 1:15 this Thursday morning, occurred the death of Mrs. Henry Toutsch. She had been ailing for the past year or more, but was confined to her bed only about two weeks. Emma Kaber was born Jan. 1st, 1870, at Luxemburg, Dubuque county, Iowa. She came to Elkader in 1891, and on Feb. 4th, 1894, was united in marriage with Henry Toutsch. She is survived by her husband and three brothers, John at Oelwein, Nic at Elkader and Henry at Prairie du Chien (Wis.).

The funeral will be held at 10 o'clock Saturday morning from St. Joseph's church.

We extend our heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved family who are called to part with a loved one.
