Elkader Register, Thur., 14 May 1903. Monona column.

Monona Chapter No. 256, Order of the Eastern Star, held memorial services in the Odd Fellows Hall, last Friday evening, May 1st, 1903, in memory of Mrs. Abbie R. Slitor. A large number from both the Star and Masonic orders and a few friends were present to witness the ceremonies which were conducted in an appropriate and impressive manner.
