Mrs. Sarah Quinn, wife of Robert Quinn, died at her home in this city Monday afternoon, having been in poor health for some time caused by her advanced age. She was born in Ireland about 1831. Most of her life was spent in Cox Creek township, moving to Elkader about ten years ago. Mrs. Quinn was the mother of sixteen children, of whom eight sons and three daughters are living, four of the sons are residents of Honolulu. The funeral which was attended by many former neighbors of Cox Creek, was held at St. Joseph's church this morning, Rev. Reilly and Rev. Rowe, of Strawberry Point, officiating.
