A telegram received Monday announced the sad news of the death of Thomas Reardon, which occurred in Chicago on Sunday last of lung fever. Mr. Reardon was a son of Mr. and Mrs. James Reardon of this township, and a most exemplary young man. He had numerous friends in this vicinity who will regret to learn of his death. The deceased was about (looks like 20 or 29) years of age. The remains were brought to this place and laid to their final rest in the Catholic cemetery.
