Cline, Caroline died 1890

Mrs. Caroline Cline died at her home in Illyria township, Fayette county, February 22nd 1890 after a lingering illness of a number of years, at the age of 67 years, 6 months and 11 days.

She was a native of New York state, was married to Conrad Cline January 29th, 1843, and with her family came to Iowa in 1853.

Mrs. Cline was a Christian lady and a member of the Freewill Baptist church for a great many years.

Ten children were born to them, four of whom are living. The funeral took place Monday and was largely attended. Rev. David Jewel, of this place, conducted the services. Mr. Cline is a member of the Masonic lodge in Volga and several of the brothers attended the funeral.

The sincere sympathy of their friends is with the husband the children in their sad bereavement
