Frommelt, Christian 'Christ' 1855-1890

FROMMELT

Word was received in this city of the sudden death of Christ. Frommelt, which occurred at Guttenberg at seven o’clock Friday evening, January 31, 1890.

The deceased was born in Vorarlberg, a province of Austria, 37 years ago, and came to Dubuque with his parents when he was three years old. His life has been spent mostly in that city, although for a time he resided at Elkader, where he had many friends.

He leaves a wife and one child. He had been sick with la grippe but a few days and his disease turned into pneumonia.

Buried: Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Jefferson Township
Age: 35y, 9m, 25d
Wife: Elizabeth died 1935
