Died on January 23th, 1890, at her home south of town, occurred the death of Mrs. Jacob Heddleson, and the funeral was held on Sunday, January 26th.

It was one of the largest funerals ever held in this vicinity. Deceased leaves a husband and five children to mourn her loss. The family has the heartfelt sympathy of the entire community.

Elkader Register: January 30, 1890
Husband: Jacob died in 1905, buried in Strawberry Point Cemetery
Age: 45y 5m 27d died at 8:15 pm, cause of death Pneumonia
