John Keller, 63, of Bettendorf, formerly of North Buena Vista, died Friday, Oct. 15, 2004, in his residence after a brief illness. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Kramer Funeral Home, Holy Cross, and from 9 to 10 a.m. Monday at Hank's Tavern in North Buena Vista. Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday, Immaculate Conception Church, North Buena Vista, with burial in the church cemetery. The Rev. Marvin Bries will officiate.
Survivors include his wife, Arlus; two sons, Donald (fiancé Lisa Osterhaus) of North Buena Vista and Patrick (fiancé Jenny Johnson) of Bettendorf; three grandchildren, Selena, Lucas and Elizabeth; his mother, Martha Miller of North Platte, Neb.; and his parents-in-law, Don and Mary Ludovissy of North Buena Vista.

NORTH BUENA VISTA, Iowa - John Keller, 63, of Bettendorf, formerly of North Buena Vista, died Friday, Oct. 15, 2004, at home, following a brief illness.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, North Buena Vista, with the Rev. Marvin Bries officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Kramer Funeral Home, Holy Cross. Friends also may call from 9 to 10 a.m. Monday at Hank's Tavern, North Buena Vista.
Mr. Keller worked as a machinist for Eden's Automatic, Inc. in Davenport.
He was born on Oct. 30, 1940, in Davenport, son of Charles and Martha (Wilson) Keller. He married Arlus Ludovissy on Oct. 1, 1981, at the Little Brown Church, Nashua.
John enjoyed NASCAR, his grandchildren and helping his wife on the paper route.
Surviving are his wife, Arlus; two sons, Donald (fiance, Lisa Osterhaus), of North Buena Vista, and Patrick (fiancee, Jenny Johnson), of Bettendorf; three grandchildren, Selena, Lucas and Elizabeth; his mother, Martha (Lloyd) Miller, of North Platte, Neb.; two sisters, Tonie and Vera; a brother, Jim; his parents-in-law, Don and Mary Ludovissy, of North Buena Vista; four brothers-in-law, Lynn (Karen) Ludovissy, Henry (Heather) Ludovissy, Dan (Kim) Ludovissy and Harvey (Mandy) Ludovissy, all of North Buena Vista; five sisters-in-law, Alice (Duane) Phelps, of Colesburg, Aggie Lammers (friend, John Houston) of Marion, Amy (Robbie) Vonderhaar, of Osterdock, Donna Ludovissy, of North Buena Vista, and Phil's wife, Sherry Ludovissy, of Dubuque; and nieces and nephews, Keith Phelps, James and Sara Phelps, David and Cassie Phelps, Melissa and Corey Wilker, Chad and Carrie Garber, Andy and Becky Pierce, Lisa, Holly and Taylor Ludovissy, Ben and Amber Ludovissy, Allen Vonderhaar, Katie and Joe Rausch, Laura Vonderhaar, Ronald, Bobby and Lacey Ludovissy, Logan and Dillon Ludovissy and Dereck and Chelsea Ludovissy.
He was preceded in death by his father; a brother-in-law, Phillip Ludovissy; and his son's special friend, Stacey Blake.
