Monona- Wade Jeremy Krambeer, 30, of Rochester, Minn., formerly of Monona, died Wednesday, Aug. 24, in his home following a sudden illness. Services: 11 a.m. Monday, St. Paul Lutheran Church, Monona, by the Rev. Allen Bidne. Inurnment will be at a later date. Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Leonard Funeral Home, Monona, and after 10 a.m. Monday at the church.
He was born Aug. 23, 1975, in Prairie du Chien, Wis., to Lee and Sharon (Koopman) Krambeer. Wade was baptized Nov. 8, 1975, received his First Communion July 5, 1987, and was confirmed on April 28, 1991, all at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Monona. He graduated from MFL Mar-Mac High School in 1994 and went on to graduate from Kirkwood Community College with an associate's degree.
On Oct. 20, 2001, Wade was united in marriage to Molly Stoffel at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Monona. Wade worked at Wilkes in Monona part time while attending high school. For the past 11 years, he worked at HyVee, where he was part of the management team. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially his dog Butch. Wade loved riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle and golfing.
Survivors include his wife, Molly; his mother, Sharon Hefel, Monona; two brothers, Rayne (Mary) Krambeer, Port Byron, Ill., and Jared (Lindsay) Krambeer, Monona; paternal grandmother, Ramona Krambeer, Monona; mothers- and fathers-in-law, Dan and Judy Nielsen, St. Olaf, and Tom and Sherri Stoffel, Elkader; sister-in-law, Holly (Tim) Wille, Elkader; one nephew, Josh Krambeer; and three nieces, Danielle Krambeer, Madeline and Mary Kate Wille.
Wade was preceded in death by his father, Lee Krambeer; paternal grandfather, Harlan Krambeer; maternal grandparents, Richard and Getrude Koopman; and his stepfather, Carl Hefel.
