Services for Earl D. Moser, 82, of Guttenberg, were conducted by Pastor Karl Goodfellow at 1 p.m. Monday, Apr. 3, at the United Methodist Church, Guttenberg.
Mr. Moser died Saturday, April 1, 1995 at Guttenberg Municipal Hospital following a brief illness.
Visitation was Sunday at the Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home.
Burial was in Bethel Cemetery, rural Osterdock, with the following casket bearers: Fred Phelps, Lavern Kahle, Lowell Nieman, John Moser and Carl Borrett. Frank Lee was honorary bearer.
Earl Donald Moser was born Aug. 15, 1912, on the family farm near Osterdock, a son of John and Bertha (Brown) Moser. He graduated from Guttenberg High School in 1931, farmed with his family for many years, and was a greenskeeper at the Guttenberg Golf Club for 14 years. He was a member of the United Methodist Church Men's Group and a past director of the Osterdock Creamery. On Sept. 26, 1946, he was united in marriage at the Little Brown Church in Nashua to Meredith Borrett, who survives.
Surviving besides his wife are one son, Rodney (and Penny) of Dubuque; three grandchildren; one brother, Dr. Paul Moser of Postville.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister in infancy.
