Elkader Register, Fri., 3 Mar. 1882. Wood Centerings column.

A Mrs. Cotts, whose husband is at Anamosa, died here on the 22d ult., during child birth. It was a distressing case, she being almost alone during her short illness. It was thought she had the new disease and but few came near.
